A day in the Malvern Hills: Hiking, Hilarity and a Hungry Dog

    Picture this: you're standing on top of the hill, the wind tousling your hair, a breathtaking panorama before you. Sounds dreamy, right? Welcome to the Malvern Hills—where history meets hilarity and every hiker's misstep is just another tale to tell. If you're look ing for an adv enture that blends stunning scenery with a dash of unexpected events , this is the place to be.   This time my journey began at the Clock Tower car park on North Malvern Road. Armed with sturdy hiking boots (a must, trust me),few layers of clothes I set off with the enthusiasm and curiosity .Weather forecast was as reliable as a weather-vane in a tornado, promising everything from drizzle to tropical sunshine. 14 Strangers,Sand ,Cliffs & a Castle

  My journey began at the breathtaking Studland Bay, a stunning stretch of golden sand offering panoramic views of the Isle of Wight. The beach was peaceful that morning, Studland Bay, a heaven for nature lovers, the perfect starting point for an unforgettable hike… No wait, go back—the adventure began in front of the hotel in West London, where I met a group of 14 strangers, but like me, crazy about hiking. So today, a group hike! After over 3hrs drive, I can honestly say now that my journey starts here, at the gorgeous Studland Bay… Our destination is Corfe Castle, a historic fortress nestled in the Purbeck Hills, but first, we are going for a rendezvous with the iconic Old Harry Rocks.
